Motor Sich Company denies accusations of the Security Service of Ukraine of financing of the so-called “DNR” due to the payment of fake taxes by the Snizhnyansky Machine-Building Plant. This was announced by the Chief Communications Officer of Motor Sich Anatoly Malysh in a comment for Radio Liberty.

“We have been paying and are paying taxes only to the state budget of Ukraine, only in Ukraine. We did not pay and do not pay taxes on the territory not controlled by Ukraine,” Malysh commented on the charges.

As it was reported earlier, the officers of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) stopped the illicit activity of Motor Sich Company, which financed the activity of terrorist organization Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR). Moreover, they handed suspicion notices to the company's director and head of financial department.

In 2018, the SBU held searches in the public joint-stock company 'Motor Sich' in Zaporizhia.

The officials of the company are suspected in the embezzlement of $14 million.
