Activists of “Mothers for Poroshenko’s impeachment” demonstration chained themselves to Presidential Administration gates, reports Ukrainian News agency.
“Women demand resignation of the President and to end the war in the east of Ukraine. Motherswho lost their children in battles in ATO zone think that war will continue until Poroshenko is in the office,” the message says.
“State authorities and SBU head Hrytsak say we are Moscow’s collaborates and they always want to accuse Kremlin in their own faults. But we represent national protest and will stand here until he resigns,” leader of the movement, a member of Soldiers' Mothers Committee of Ukraine Natalia Don said.
The women hold posters “For the impeachment of Poroshenko”. They claim that representatives of Azov national corpus tried to attack them and policemen are trying to obstruct their demonstration. ATO veterans came to the building of the Presidential Administration and started to chant “impeachment” together with them. Fusees are lit at the site.
As of now, the rally on Bankova street continues.
