Macedonian Tetovo tops the rating of most polluted cities in Europe - Pollution Index 2018 Mid-Year. The whole list is published on numbeo.com.

Naples (Italy) is in the second place, the Macedonian capital Skopje comes the third.

Tirana (capital of Albania), Turin (Italy), Bucharest (capital of Romania), Sarajevo (capital of Bosnia and Herzegowina), Krakow (Poland), and Plovdiv (Bulgaria) are in top-10. Kyiv got the 10th place.

Ukrainian Lviv and Kharkiv are on the 30th and 31st places respectively.

The authors of Pollution Index stated that they took into account the quality of air and drinking water, general water pollution, the waste disposal level, subjective consideration of the ecology situation in the city by the residents, the noise level, the number of parks and green areas.
