Moscow court extends Sushchenko’s arrest till September 30

The arrest was extended for three months, investigators submitted such motion

Moscow court extended the term of arrest for Ukrainian political prisoner Roman Sushchenko till September 30, announced his lawyer Mark Feigin.

“Lefortovo district court extended the term of detention for Roman Sushchenko on investigators’ motion for another three months, till September 30. Russian court is not a place one should wait for surprises, ” the lawyer wrote on his Facebook page.

As it was reported earlier Feigin awaits US resolutions on Sushchenko case. The lawyer expressed hope that Tillerson will raise the issue of illegally detained Ukrainian journalist during his the meeting with Lavrov.
