Federica Mogherini, the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy will pay a visit to Ukraine on March 11-12. Interfax-Ukraine reports referring to the source in diplomatic circles.
“Mogherini will come to Kyiv with a working visit,” agency’s spokesperson said.
According to the message, Mogherini scheduled several bilateral meetings with Ukraine’s authorities.
Earlier, Rikard Jozwiak, Radio Svoboda reporter, informed about Mogherini’s visit to Ukraine.
As we reported earlier, Mogherini visited Ukraine in 2015. She had a meeting with Mustafa Dzhemilev and Refat Chubarov and she confirmed that the EU does not recognize illegal annexation of Crimea.
Later she met Petro Poroshenko and assured that Ukraine is still under the careful attention of the EU. She also discussed with Arseny Yatsenyuk, the former Prime Minister of Ukraine the creation of the fund for the increase of the wages for the Ukrainian officials.
