The construction work was recently completed at the Shevchenkivsky Cultural Center in Kaniv, Cherkasy region. A modern park is being built near Shevchenkivsky Cultural Center. The head of the Cherkasy Regional State Administration Oleksandr Skichko announced this on his Facebook page.
"We have already taken the first step: rebuilt Shevchenkivsky Cultural Center," Skichko wrote.
He said that a modern recreation space is being created around the Shevchenkivsky Cultural Center, which was named Shevchenko HUB. It includes a park, the largest playground in the city and multifunctional locations for sports.
All the facilities of the future park near Shevchenko HUB will be without barriers and adapted for people with disabilities.
As it was reported, a separate program “Great Restoration” was launched as part of the presidential “Great Construction” program in 2021, during which hundreds of cultural and historical heritage sites will be restored in all regions of Ukraine.
It should be noted that the draft State Budget of Ukraine for 2022 provides for expenditures to finance the cultural sector in the amount of 345.5 million dollars, and in particular, 3.6 million dollars – for the “Great Restoration”.
