According to Lyashko, it will reduce the mobility of people who feel or have signs of the coronavirus infection and it will reduce the necessity to visit the healthcare establishments.
“The next my regulation as the head of the liquidation of the consequences of an emergency, is the order to create the mobile units at the central district hospitals, which will consist of a driver and medical workers; during the calls of the family doctor, emergency medical assistance and other medics, this unit will come at home to people who have the suspicion for coronavirus, to collect the samples for analyses at the virological laboratory,” Lyashko said.
Over the past 24 hours, 62 people have been infected with coronavirus in Ukraine. As of now, there are 218 laboratory-confirmed cases of Covid-19.
Besides, Ukraine’s government has introduced an emergency situation throughout the country for 30 days until April 24, 2020 and prolonged a lockdown across the country for 30 days.
Ukraine’s PM Denys Shmygal stated that the government intends to close any passenger movement across the border of Ukraine, starting from March 27.
