A mobile application eCourt (еСуд) was introduced In Ukraine. It will be possible to receive procedural documents and court notices on a smartphone through the application. This was reported by the press service of the State Judiciary Administration of Ukraine.
"We generated this idea based on the wishes of users of the e-court subsystem, the main version of which has been tested since 2018. People spoke about the need to develop a mobile version of the application to access e-court more convenient through mobile devices and smartphones," the statement said.
The application allows not only to monitor the movement of documents in court cases but also to receive procedural documents and court notices on your own smartphone. It also simplifies access to justice for residents of remote settlements and territories not controlled by the government of Ukraine, and for all other residents of Ukraine.
According to the developers, after comprehensive closed testing, the mobile application is available for free download in GooglePlay and AppleStore.
Earlier, in June the Verkhovna Rada approved in the second reading and as a whole bill #5246 about the introduction of so-called court in a smartphone. The document provides for the creation of an information and telecommunication system of pre-trial investigation. It will ensure the creation, collection, storage, retrieval, processing, and transfer of materials and information in criminal proceedings.
