Missile tests to take place in southern Ukraine in early November

The tests of guided missiles will start in Kherson region on November 1. The airspace over the Black Sea will be closed for the time being. Dmytro Strutynsky, the Speaker of the HQ of the Ukrainian Air Forces claimed this in the commentary to Ukrainian News agency.

‘The flight test on testing guided missiles to air defense systems will start in Kherson region tomorrow,’ Strutynsky claimed.

It is noted that the airspace over the Black Sea would be closed from November 1 to November 4.

Earlier, Oleksandr Turchynov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council reported that the large-scale tests of Ukraine-made cruise missiles are slated for the end of the year. Turchynov noted that the technical specifications of the Ukrainian missiles do not contradict the international agreement on the destruction and non-proliferation of medium-range missiles.
