The subgroup on security was ordered to elaborate the preparation to the “bread truce” in Donbas according to the results of the Trilateral Contact Group meeting in Minsk as Darka Olifer, the Spokesperson of Ukraine’s Representative Kuchma reported on Facebook.
It is noted that the introduction of ceasefire would change for the better situation with security in Donbas, first of all, for the civilians, who live on both sides of contact line. However, the Trilateral Contact Group thinks that the escalation observed during the last few days hinders this peaceful initiative.
“The subgroup on security was ordered to elaborate the preparation to the so-called “bread truce”. In these conditions, the OSCE SMMM should get the reliable and safe access to the whole territory of Ukraine, according to its mandate,” the message said.
Earlier Kuchma stated that Kyiv would discuss the reconsideration of the decision of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) on trade restrictions against areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions uncontrolled by Ukraine, only after return of the assets situated there to the Ukrainian legal field.
