Kyiv Military Lyceum named after Ivan Bohun (previously - Suvorov Military School) prepares to dismantle the monument to Russian commander Suvorov that is stationed near the central entrance of the institution.
This was reported by Vesti with reference to the administration of the lyceum.
“We are preparing to transfer the monument to the back yard,” the daily cited administration representative.
For now, the monument is covered with a banner of Ivan Bohun, who was a Ukrainian Cossack colonel and a close associate and friend of Bohdan Khmelnytsky.
Earlier it was reported that activity of Russian aviation observed near Crimean border. Such military actions are the part of military exercises, which involve units in occupied Crimea.
