Petro Poroshenko, the President of Ukraine has claimed that the opening of the new-style military camp at ‘Shyroky Lan’ proving ground, Mykolaiv region is planned until the end of 2018 as he reported on Facebook.
‘Until the end of this year, we plan to open a new-style military camp at the territory of ‘Shyroky Lan’ proving ground in Mykolaiv region. The brigade complex will include 11 new-style barracks, dining room with 2, 500 seats, sports base, a modern recreation center for contractor-soldiers and officers, post office, shops, café, medical unit’, the president noted.
According to him, it is a first large-scale project that is financed from the state funds.
‘I will definitely visit the construction to personally inspect the conditions in which our defenders will train, learn and rest’, Poroshenko said.
A ‘Shyroky Lan’ proving ground in Mykolaiv region is infamous by a number of the incidents that took place there.
