The statement of the lawyer of Volodymyr Ruban about his offer to exchange him for two Ukrainian soldiers illegally detained in occupied Donbas does not correspond with the reality. Iryna Gerashchenko, the First Vice Speaker and the representative of Ukraine in the Minsk Talks reported this on Facebook.

"And, by the way, the statements of the Ruban's lawyers do not correspond with the reality; they are far from the Minsk Talks. Donbas militants never offered two our soldier for this so-called "general". Once, there was a talk about a formula "one for one" and then the militants put Ruban on the common list with another 300 people and claimed that there will be no small exchange only all for all," she wrote.
