MH17 crash investigation: suspects are named

Dutch edition of independent journalistic investigation Zembla published the names of suspected in the case of crash of Malaysia Airlines Boeing 777, that performed a flight Amsterdam-Kuala Lumpur above Donbas in 2014.

The edition says that the Security Service of Ukraine determined the group of seven people involved in this incident. The names of Russian military servicemen – Igor Girikin (Strelkov), Serhey Dubynskyi and Nikolay Tkachev – are in the list of suspects.

The edition refers to the data from the interview with former Chairman of Security Service Valentyn Nalyvaychenko, who was the Head of the Security Service, when the plane was crashed. It is mentioned, that the Security Service provided the investigation with materials, including 150,000 records of tapped telephone conversations.

The investigation team focused not on those, who serviced Russian rocket system Buk, that crashed the MN-17 plane, but on those, who guided the armed conspiration in Donbas.

Earlier, Boeing 777 of Malaysian Airlines, flight number MH17, was destroyed while performing a regular flight from the Netherlands to Malaysia in July 2014. The tragedy took place in the sky over the militant-held section of Donetsk region. All 298 people aboard deceased; most of the victims,196, were Dutch, but there were citizens of other nine countries as well.
