The memorandum of Ukraine with the International Monetary Fund provides for the completion by the end of November 2021 of the process of selection and appointment of the head of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office. In addition, it envisages measures to support the population during the period of increased world gas prices. This was announced by the Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy Danylo Hetmantsev, Interfax-Ukraine reports.

"Moreover, the memorandum is to "protect vulnerable populations through sufficient allocations for social programs," like subsidies. It is not that there is no increase in tariffs, but there are measures to support the population during the period of increased world gas prices, " Hetmantsev noted.

According to him, the memorandum also provides for the adoption of a "resource" bill #5600, improving the administration of excise duties, personal income tax (PIT) on the sale of real estate and rent.

The memorandum also provides for the continuation of pension reform, says Hetmantsev.

Ukraine also undertakes to publish the results of the audit of the Anti-COVID-19 Fund by the end of this year.

In addition, Ukraine intends to launch the Bureau of Economic Security and liquidate the State Fiscal Service by the end of December this year.
