The memorandum on energy sector cooperation will be signed at EU-Ukraine summit that will take place on November 24 in Brussels. The Vice-Prime Minister on European integration Ivanna Klympush Tsintsadze announced this on air of 112 Ukraine TV channel.
"This summit is another evidence of the high level of political dialogue that is maintained between Ukraine and the EU. We expect to get assurances of the future recognition of full territorial integrity of Ukraine, that the policy of non-recognition of Crimea annexation will continue and hear signals about European Council’s signals on extension sanctions against Russia due to its violation of the Minsk agreements and failure to provide safety ," she said.
We expect to sign two agreements with the EU: on funding anti-corruption efforts in Ukraine and a strategic memorandum on cooperation in the energy sector.
"It will also be about confirming the decision adopted by the European Union Permanent Representatives Committee to grant Ukraine vise-free regime," she added.
Earlier it was reported that EU will decide on visa-free regime with Ukraine till the end of this year, according to Klympush Tsintsadze.
