The name of the man shot dead near a shopping mall in Kyiv became known, according to Vesti, as the Kyiv Police informs.

The man’s name was Asif Mamedov, The Russian police has been looking for him since 2015 as a murder suspect.

According to the media, the man was Azerbaijani. A driving license issued in Altai Krai region (Russia) was found on him.

It is reported that the man has 20 gunshot wounds. Shell casings of 5,45 mm caliber were found at the crime scene. The killers left the weapon behind, it was an AK-47 assault rifle, and disappeared from the crime scene in a black Lanos car. It is also known that there were two perpetrators.
