The Holodomor in Ukraine was declared a genocide by nine USA states: Washington, Wisconsin, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Oregon and Pennsylvania.

The parliaments of 14 countries (Canada, Australia, Georgia, Poland, Portugal, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Ecuador, Columbia, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru and Chile) made a relevant decision.

The Holodomor lasted for 17 months – from April 1932 to November 1933. The researchers have not defined the number of victims yet. They name the numbers from 1,8 million to 10 million. Most of the experts believe that the number of victims is from 3 to 3,5 million.
