Man throws flame liquid at polling station in Chernihiv region during Ukraine's presidential elections

A man threw flame liquid at one of the polling stations in Borzna city of Chernihiv region. The press service of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine reports this on Twitter.

According to the report, the attack happened at 10:50 AM. The fire was extinguished at 10:51 AM. The Ministry assures that no one was injured in the incident. The electoral process is ongoing.

Earlier, Ukrainian presidential candidate Oleg Lyashko showed his ballot paper to journalists and other voters.

The National Police of Ukraine received over 25 claims concerning the electoral process in Ukraine. 

According to the law enforcers, seven violations were connected with the unlawful agitation, two voters tried to take a photo of their ballot papers in Kirovohrad and Zaporizhia regions, one vote buying case was registered in Zakarpattia region, and the attempt of taking the ballot paper away took place in Zhytomyr region.   

Over 700 administrative proceedings have been launched since the beginning of the election campaign.
