A man who crushed several memorial plates to the Heavenly Hundred Heroes near the Independence Square on Instytutska street was arrested in Kyiv. Internal Minister adviser Zoryan Shkiryak wrote this on his page in Facebook.

According to Shkiryak, the man was detained by law enforcers. He turned out to be a 43-year-old resident of Sevastopol.

"Now he is in the police station, where investigators will decide to hold him accountable," Shkiryak wrote.

As it was reported earlier vandals in Kyiv broke the memorial tablet to the Heavenly Hundred Hero Roman Senyk installed in Kthe capital by his family from Yavorivka district of Lviv region. It is noteworthy, that six famous memorials were damaged in Kyiv for the past half of a year, one of which were damaged three times.
