A man was detained in Luhansk region as he ripped the Ukrainian flag from the prosecutor's office right after the earnings in the Russian Federation as the press service of Luhansk region prosecutor's office reported.

It is established that drunken local citizen ripped the state flag from the building of the Markiv department of Starobilsk prosecutor's office by damaging the flagpole.

At the moment, the procedural guide in the criminal proceeding due to the desecration of the flag takes place. The perpetrator is detained; he served charges in the mentioned crime.

The law enforcers established that a man recently returned from the earnings in Russia and under the influence of the Russian propaganda he decided to commit the desecration of the state flag of Ukraine.

At the moment, a man is put under the house arrest. The investigation continues.

The sanctions for him provide the fine in the sum of 50 untaxed minimum incomes of the citizens or arrest up to six months or imprisonment up to three years.

As we reported Ukraine's SBU, the state security service, managed to return another citizen from the captivity of pro-Russian militants in Donbas. This time, they brought home a student who hoisted the national flag of Ukraine over a school.
