The Verkhovna Rada has appointed the general producer of Zaporizhia Independent TV and Radio Organization TV-5 Maksym Onoprienko a member of Ukraine’s National Council of Television and Radio Broadcasting. Rada TV channel broadcasted the session.

According to the website of TV-5 channel, Maksym Onoprienko was born on October 12, 1980 in Tartu city of Estonia.

His media career began in 2002 at the Publishing House Companion Group. Until 2005, he has been a Group Brand Manager of an analytical business magazine Comp&nion and the business magazine &.STRATEGICS (Kyiv).

In 2005-2007, he was involved interactive projects on STB, TRK Ukraine, ICTV, Channel 5 TV channels.

In 2008-2013, he implemented some projects as an independent film and television producer.

In 2011, he acted as an executive producer on the Ukrainian side in the international format reality show Big Brother Ukraine (K1 TV channel, Ukraine)

Also in 2011, he was co-organizer of the cinematography training sessions of Waldemar Dziki (Poland).

During 2012-2013, he shot a series of science-journalistic programs ‘Ukraine: Forgotten History,’ (12 films) on MEGA TV channel in Ukraine.

In 2013, he was a member of the international jury of the National Competition at the 43rd Molodist Kyiv International Film Festival.

In March 2018 Maksym Onoprienko, joined the Ukrainian Television Academy.

As it was reported earlier, former president Poroshenko appointed Volodymyr Horkovenko as the member the National Council of Television and Radio Broadcasting of Ukraine. Previously, Horkovenko worked as a head of the Main Department of Information Policy of the Presidential Administration.

Poroshenko also dismissed Yuriy Artemenko from the post of the member the National Council of Television and Radio Broadcasting of Ukraine.
