The majority of the victims in the explosion at the college in Kerch, annexed Crimea are the teenagers as the Russian Investigative Committee reported.
"Preliminary, today the unidentified explosive device packed with the metal objects blasted at the cafeteria of Kerch polytechnic college. The data about the victims is specified, the majority of them are the teenagers," the message said.
The investigative bodies of the Chief Investigation Department of Russia's committee in Crimea opened a criminal proceeding due to the explosion qualified as the terrorist act.
Later TASS also reported that all victims were hospitalized.
"There are no people under the rubble. All victims were hospitalized," the local "authorities" reported.
As we reported an explosion thundered at a college in Kerch, the town in the Russian-occupied Crimea. It claimed lives of at least ten people; another fifty sustained injuries. According to the initial version, the explosion took place due to the gas leak; however, it became known that the building of the college was not connected to the gas supply.
Later it was reported that the number of casualties increased up to 18 people.
