The head of the State Bureau of Investigation, Roman Truba, said that Maidan’s affairs will be distributed between the State Bureau of Investigation, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau, the National Police and the Security Service.

He said this on the program "Freedom of Speech of Savik Schuster."

"Regarding Maidan cases. There are 114 of them. Almost half of these criminal proceedings, approximately 50-60, will be considered by the State Bureau of Investigation. The rest of the criminal proceedings, the lion's share of the second part, will be received by NABU, the National Police and a small part by the Security Service." – Truba noted.

He also noted that he supported the fact that investigators from the Prosecutor General’s Office, who had been conducting Maidan’s affairs, should go to the State Security Bureau and complete the investigation.

Earlier it was reported that the lawyer of the families of Heavenly Hundred Evhenia Zakrevska went on hunger strike, demanding amendments to the law aimed at unblocking the investigation of Maidan. According to her, now the head of the State Bureau of Investigation, Roman Truba, has created a “fake” department in his department, which supposedly will deal with the affairs of the Maidan. And after that, according to the lawyer, everyone plans to forget about these cases.

As we reported, state Bureau of Investigations (SBI) has set up a unit to work on the investigation of crimes committed during the Maidan protests in 2013-2014.
