Lviv was satisfied with 1900 tons of waste limit on landfills in Lviv region, which is just a few days norm in the city and may lead to a recurrence with waste blockade. This was reported by Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi, according to the website of Lviv City Administration.

"The main task for the following days is to find landfills for garbage collection. The city was given only a 1900 tons waste limit on landfills in Lviv region as for today. However, this is just a few days norm of waste that is produced in the city. Thus, there is a real threat of a repeat of the situation with city blockade," Sadovyi noted.

10% of landfills in the city are currently full.

He also informed about cooperation with French experts regarding a plan of primary emergency measures in Hrybovychi.
