About a month ago a citizen of one of the world’s superpowers tried to steal military secrets of Ukraine, as Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko told journalists on Friday in response to the question if there were attempts to steal Ukrainian military secrets in the years of war.

“Yes. I can also tell you, that in one of our detention centers there’s a citizen of a big superpower, it’s not Russia and not the USA, who is suspected of an attempt to steal our military secrets,” Lutsenko said.

He noted that it happened about a month ago.

As it was reported earlier, the CNN published a video of North Korean spies being arrested in Ukraine for trying to steal missile drawings in 2011. The drawings were fake, and the Ukrainian authorities arrested the spies on the spot. The North Koreans have been convicted for eight years of imprisonment.
