Court decriminalized all otamans condemned to death by the Soviet regime

The court rehabilitated the remaining otamans of Kholodny Yar condemned to death by the Soviet regime on the request of the Kyiv regional Prosecutor yesterday, on December 14: I. Hrysyuk-Hayovyi M. Kutsenko, R. Oliynyk, V. Melnychenko, P. Oliynyk, M. Zabudskyi, P. Trotsenko, P. Savenko, K. Nikolaenko, R. Haluschenko. This way, all the heros of Kholodny Yar were decriminalized.

This was reported by the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko on Facebook.

"The court stated that the prosecution formulated in the verdict of the Tribunal indicates that Kholody Yar otamans were judged for the struggle, including armed resistance against the Soviets and for creation of the Ukrainian state. Also, for the participation in armed groups of Ukrainian People's Republic and other actions that confirm their participation in the struggle for the independence of Ukraine," Lutsenko wrote.

Earlier it was reported about chavs, volunteers, other Heroes of Ukraine's independence. The sum up of a list of social and cultural heroes who formed and are forming Ukraine.
