Lutkovska to become new Ukraine's representative to Trilateral Contact Group in Minsk

Former Verkhovna Rada’s Ombudsman for Human Rights Valeriya Lutkovska will replace First Vice-Speaker of the Parliament Iryna Gerashchenko in the humanitarian subgroup of the Trilateral Contact Group in Minsk, as Hromadske reported.

“I was at the sitting of Ukraine’s President and the Head of the Ukrainian delegation to the Trilateral Contact Group Leonid Kuchma and I will be responsible for humanitarian issues,” Lutkovska said.

She held the post of Verkhovna Rada’s Ombudsman for Human Rights since April 24, 2012 till April 28, 2017. Now she is working at the Ukrainian Institute for Human Rights.

As it was reported, the second president of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma will lead the delegation of this country in the Minsk trilateral talks group; he'll represent Ukraine at the session of the group on June 5.
