Entrepreneurs are protesting in Chernivtsi and Zhytomyr on March 3. They demand the easing of strict quarantine restrictions in the regions. This was reported by local media.
In Chernivtsi, people prepared an appeal to the head of the Chernivtsi Regional State Administration Serhiy Osachuk and the head of the Chernivtsi Regional Council Oleksiy Boyko, which deals with defending the constitutional right to work.
In addition, according to the organizer of the picket, businessman Vasyl Shkrobanets, the entrepreneurs themselves are not sure that they will be provided with financial assistance.
"I don't see any help from the local authorities due to the fact that we were sent to quarantine. We haven't heard any answers whether they will help us. Some are closed like we are and others work. But we want to hear from the authorities, "We have been sent away, and do whatever you want. But we don't know how to support the family. We haven't heard a specific answer as to what we should be like," Shkrobanets said.
People are also protesting today in Zhytomyr on Korolyova Square. About a hundred entrepreneurs here demand to be allowed to work during the tightened quarantine with observance of all quarantine norms.
Entrepreneurs from Chudnov, Berdychiv, Andrushivka came to the rally.
Earlier, an adaptive quarantine was introduced in Ukraine on February 24. Different quarantine regimes are established in the regions depending on the epidemic situation. As last time, there are four levels of epidemic danger, each of which has clear quarantine restrictions and criteria for determination.
