Lockdown in Ukraine will most certainly be introduced. At the moment, the country's leadership is deciding the exact date for imposure of strict quarantine restrictions. Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danylov announced this on air of Ukraine 24 TV channel.
According to Danylov, the lockdown will be 100% imposed, but now the date is being decided.
"The only question in time is whether it would be December or from January 2. A discussion with experts on this issue is underway. Yesterday, Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting to decide how it would be. But the lockdown will be imposed, it's 100%," he said.
As you know, in Ukraine, due to the rapid increase in the number of patients with Covid-19, the government is considering various options for further quarantine, one of which is lockdown. At the same time, despite strict quarantine restrictions, critical infrastructure could can continue working.
