Lithuania’s Constitutional Court Head robbed in Kyiv

Dainius Žalimas, the Head of Lithuania’s Constitutional Court, was robbed of his wallet in Kyiv, as the resource in the law enforcement agencies informed Ukrainska Pravda.

“On June 21 at around 18:00 the Lithuanian citizen appealed to the 102 special circuit and informed that he was robbed of his wallet with money on Gonchara street,” Yaroslav Trakalo, the Spokesperson of the National Police, stated.

The police opened a criminal proceeding under the article №185 of Ukraine’s Criminal Code on a robbery.

At the same time, Trakalo did not name the surname of the victim and the amount of money stolen. Yet, the source of the news agency informed that Dainius Žalimas, the Head of Lithuania’s Constitutional Court, is the one who was robbed.

Earlier, the Head of European Council Office in Ukraine Мarten Ehnberg was robbed in Kyiv downtown.
