The presenters of 112 Ukraine TV channel took part in the photo project ‘Light of Constitution’. Stars of the TV screens posed in fashionable clothes from FOBERINI brand.
Each snapshot has an article from the main document of the country. They pay particular attention to the accessibility of the Constitution and importance of knowing one’s rights and obligations. This way, the presenters lead the audience to social responsibility.
For example, Anna Stepanets, the host of the main political talk show of the country ‘The Pulse,’ drew attention of viewers to the fifth article of the Constitution of Ukraine: “People are the source of power in Ukraine. It means all of us, you and me! So when will a person become the main value of the state not only on paper, but also in real life? When will our people get the conditions for realization of their initiative and potential? Why almost 40 million Ukrainians are unable to fulfil themselves? It is because the power system does not give us this opportunity. This is one of the most important problems of Ukrainians. Dear officials, let's embody a human centrism. And everything else should be subjected to this basic task."
Anastasia Medvedchuk, TV hostess of the LIVE studio, commented on the Article 10 of the country's fundamental law: “Nations don’t die of a heart attack. At first speech is taken away from them,” the words of Lina Kostenko are the best motivation to love our native language. Ukrainian is the most beautiful language of the world - and our task is to pass it to our children in the same way.”
Nadiya Sass, the author of the Big Games programs and The Other Side, told about the Article 15 of the Constitution: “Ukrainian society is rich in its diversity. We have different experience, history, native languages and convictions. There is not enough place for us in the format of “only one correct ideology ”and censorship tied to it. The constitution guarantees our right to be different and to speak openly about it in public.”
A star of the ‘Evening Prime’ and ‘Voice of the People’ Tetyana Ivanska reminded about Article 134: “Crimea is a part of us. It is a part of our soul, it is the hospitality of the Crimean Tatar people. It it is a hot breath of the steppe and a tender kiss of the sea. Crimea is Ukraine!”
A hostess of LIVE studio and ‘Voice of the People’ Tetiana Khmelnytska pointed to the fundamental principle of the main law of the country: “The first article of the Constitution of Ukraine laid in 1996 a good foundation for the development and strengthening of a young, inexperienced, but such a proud and independent country like Ukraine. I hope that in subsequent years, it will remain democratic, social standards will grow, and every citizen will feel protected in the legal field.”
