The Committee on National Health, Medical Care and Health Insurance recommends the Verkhovna Rada to adopt bill #5247, which lifts civil liability from vaccine manufacturers or the holder of a registration certificate for any consequences of vaccinations. This was reported by the Information Department of the Verkhovna Rada Apparatus.
"The Committee on National Health, Medical Care and Health Insurance recommends that the Verkhovna Rada adopt as a basis and in general a bill #5247 on state registration of vaccines or other medical immunobiological drugs under the obligation," the statement said.
The norm was added that medical workers are to be free from liability for possible consequences if the use of vaccines or other immunobiological drugs took place in accordance with the approved instructions.
However, in case of such consequences, the state provides compensation payments in the order prescribed by the Cabinet of Ministers.
The law will be in force for four years.
In addition, the Cabinet of Ministers must develop and implement a procedure for compensation within a month.
