The leader of Radical Party Oleh Lyashko invited Yuriy Lutsenko, the current Prosecutor General of Ukraine, to submit the request to strip Andriy Artemenko of his immunity and arrest him. This was reported by the head of political faction on Facebook page.

"Today’s announcement of traitor Artemenko is a bunch of lies! As a leader of faction I did not know about his trip to Moscow or his Kremlin "plan". When I found out about this provocation from media, he was immediately expelled from our faction for treason upon my initiative. As there are signs of crime in Artemenko’s actions, I demand the immediate request to arrest Artemenko from the Prosecutor General, before the MP leaves the country," Lyashko wrote.

He noted that Artemenko confessed having dual citizenship.

Radical Party leader also added he will insist that the parliament deprives the mentioned deputy of mandate due to dual citizenship.

It is noteworthy that people’s deputy Artemenko confirmed he is also a citizen of Canada apart from having Ukrainian passport. However, he noted he has never had the Russian citizenship. This information was published by Ukrainian News agency.

As it was reported earlier, People's Deputy Andriy Artemenko held a press conference today. He said that his plan provides a compromise for all parties, which reflects the national interests.
