Laws on cash registers, fines for illegally issued checks passed to president for signing

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky received the bills #1053-1 on imposing of electronic checks and #1073 on implementation of cashback in case of illegally issued receipts. He is about to sign them.

The draft law #1053-1 provides the imposing of the electronic check; in other words - the system of recording of transactions through the smartphone, which should replace the registrator of banking operations.

According to the #1073 bill, the customer will be able to check the legitimacy of the issuance of a cheque in the information system. If the sum of the purchase is more than $34.5, the customer may pretend for compensation from the state.

On September 20, the Ukrainian Parliament approved the bill No. 1053-1, which provides an instilment of an electronic check. It was unveiled by a deputy from People’s Servant fraction, the head of the tax committee Danylo Hetmantsev. The turnover limit for individuals of the second group of entrepreneurs has been increased from 60,932 to 101,553 dollars, according to his statement.

Earlier, it was reported that Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine may consider the main and alternative bills on the land market this week. On September 25, the governmental land market bill was registered at the Ukrainian parliament.
