Law enforcers reveal weapon hideout in Dnipropetrovsk region

A local policeman, who was gathering waste metal in the wood line found the hideout

The law enforcers revealed a big hiding spot with explosive devices, grenades and grenade launchers in Zaitsevo, Dnipropetrovsk region, on August 11 as the press office of the region police reports.

In total, eight kilograms of explosive devices, 60 RGD-5, F1 and RGN grenades with detonators, two rocket-propelled grenades, six rounds to it, 12 smoke bombs and 16 boxes with bullets to different weapon was found.

It was noted that the local policeman, who was gathering waste metal in the wood line found the hideout.

For now, the policemen are determining the origin of the weapon and the individuals involved in the establishment of the hideout. All the ammunition was seized and sent for inspection.

A criminal proceeding on this case was opened under the article of Ukraine’s Criminal Code on the illegal handling of weapons, ammunition and explosive devices.

Earlier, in July the police revealed the weapons arsenal in the garage of a local resident in Donetsk region, who is suspected of cooperation with ORDLO (Separated Districts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, - ed.) militants.
