Ukrainian singer Laura Marti presented her song "Independent", which she wrote for the Eurovision-2022. The artist has already applied to participate in the National Selection, the format of which was changed this year.

"I embodied the idea in the image of a girl named Ukraine. She was born free, absorbed all the riches of her native land and grew brightly from the ancient truth of existence. It is like a red viburnum that carries beauty, joy, happiness and love. At the same time, it is like a forest nymph from another dimension, full of willpower, thirst for knowledge and creative freedom. Sincere, strong, brave, independent - she is real, balanced, confident, unbreakable and at the same time fragile, gentle, but also passionate, unrestrained... She always believes in the best, because she strives for it with all her might and knows that this is the only way. I wanted to write a rhythmic, modern song with elements of ethnicity, full of powerful strength and deep meanings, where everyone will see themselves," Laura Marti said.

As it was reported, the representatives from 41 countries will participate in Eurovision 2022, which will take place in Turin in May of 2022.
