The prime minister stressed that these certificates would be valid in Europe.

As we reported earlier, the European Commission decided to launch digital vaccination certificates from 1 July.

"The EU Digital Covid Certificate is free of charge, secure and accessible to all. It will cover vaccination, test and recovery offering different options to the citizens. It fully respects citizens' fundamental rights, including protection of personal data," the message said.

After the European Commission reaches an agreement on the implementation of these certificates, it is necessary that the European Parliament and the Council of Europe formally adopt a corresponding resolution. The adopted decree should enter into force on July 1, 2021 with a six-week period for the issuance of Covid certificates to countries that need additional time.
