One of the largest port operators in the world DP World intends to invest in Ukraine as the press service of the presidential administration reported.

It is noted that Poroshenko held the meeting with Head of DP World Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem within his visit to the UAE.

'Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem confirmed the intentions of the company to invest in the port sphere of Ukraine and expressed the hope for the further successful implementation of the DP World projects in Ukraine', the message said.

It is reported that DP World Company that manages 78 terminals in 43 countries.

Earlier it was reported that President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum signed a memorandum on the visa-free regime that will come into force in December.
