Land audit to be conducted in Koncha-Zaspa and Pushcha-Vodytsya,- Zelensky

The issue of land sales and construction of houses in Koncha Zaspa and Pushcha-Vodytsya was raised at a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC). The NSDC has instructed to conduct an audit of these agreements, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said in his video address.

"Today we touched upon an important issue - these are state lands and houses in Koncha Zaspa and Pushcha-Vodytsya. In total, we are talking about almost 400 hectares of protected land and more than 100 state buildings and cottages," Zelensky said.

According to him, at the end of 2014, under the former President of Ukraine, a government decree approved a list of citizens entitled to preferential residence.This, according to the president, legalized "the stay on these lands and in residences for a very symbolic payment of a number of incomprehensible citizens."

Among such persons are former judges, prosecutors, law enforcement officers, customs officers, tax officials.

"Today I have set a task to conduct a full audit of the lands and residences of Konchi-Zaspa and Pushcha-Vodytsya, to establish a complete list of people living there, under what conditions they received this right," the president added.

At the meeting, the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine also imposed personal sanctions against 557 thieves in law and 111 foreigners who are criminal authorities.
