Special squad and experts from Kyiv have arrived to search victims of fire at Odesa college for economics, law and hotel and catering business and help clear the blocks. 112 Ukraine correspondent reported this.
The specialists will establish which equipment is needed to clear the blocks and how to hold the special operation.
According to experts from Kyiv, the framing of the building is in satisfactory condition but all the floors and partition walls are unsafe. The rescuers state that they will have to use a special crane for search and rescue works.
The head of Odesa Regional Council Serhiy Parashchenko on his Facebook page said that financial aid will be allocated to all the victims of the fire urgently.
“Today, I instructed commission for health care and social policy about the urgent allocation of financial aid to all victims. On behalf of the deputies of the Regional Council and personally I express condolences to the family of the deceased. I grieve with you,” Parashchenko said.
As it was reported earlier, the college for economics, law and hotel and catering business was on fire in Odesa. Some students jumped on the parked cars from the fifth floor. 112 Ukraine correspondent noted that two young women jumped out of the window.
