The authorities of Kyiv prepare for the closure of transport during the lockdown. Kyiv City State Administration hopes that during the enhancing of lockdown, the closure of transport can be avoided as Ukraine 24 TV channel reported citing First Deputy Head of the Administration Mykola Povoroznik.
He specified that the electronic pass will be introduced in Kyiv during the lockdown.
“Concerning the restrictions, we have announced that if we close the transport, we will introduce electronic pass. As of today, we have about 1,000 requests from the enterprises that should work as the critical infrastructure. It will be a very heavy step, I hope that the number of vaccination held in the city is sufficient and restrictive measures will allow not to close transport,” Povoroznikv said.
As we reported, the Chernivtsi region (western Ukraine) may end up in the “red” quarantine zone; Zhytomyr, Luhansk, Lviv, and Kharkiv regions are already in the risk area.
