Kyiv authorities prepare for the strict regime of quarantine three weeks in a row as the increase of incidence with Covid-19 is expected in autumn as Ukraine 24 TV channel reported citing Head of the Main Directorate of the State Food and Consumer Service in Kyiv Oleh Ruban.
“The issue of Covid is really a priority in any HQ of the emergency service of Kyiv City Administration because the increase of the incidence is expected in organized collectives, schools, higher education institutes. We put emphasis on the vaccination of the teaching staff in Kyiv,” Ruban noted.
According to him, the possibility of further vaccination will allow to form the collective immunity at the level of 80-90% and avoid putting of the capital in the “red zone” of the quarantine. Then, the business will work in full but with particular restrictions.
Earlier, Ukraine’s Healthcare Minister Viktor Lyashko stated that Ukrainians will be inoculated with the third dose of Pfizer vaccine, as long as the WHO provides respective recommendations.
