Transport will not be stopped in Kyiv due to lockdown. However, it will work in strict compliance with sanitary norms. The first Deputy Chairman of Kyiv City State Administration Mykola Povoroznyk reported this on Facebook.
He noted that the Commission on Technogenic and Environmental Safety and Emergencies of the Kyiv City State Administration has decided not to stop the work of public transport in the capital.
"Public transport will run with an occupancy of not more than 50% of the seats provided for in the technical characteristics of the vehicle and specified in the registration documents for such a vehicle," Povoroznyk said.
Earlier, the Ministry of Health decided to introduce a "red" level of epidemic danger in Kyiv and Odesa regions due to the spread of Covid-19.
