On September 18, the mournful march on "Death Road" to "Menorah" memorial at the territory of the National reserve "Babyn Yar" took place 112.ua reported.

The march is dedicated to the 77th anniversary of the tragedy in Babyn Yar. More than 150 people participated in it.

During the German occupation of Kyiv in 1941-1943, Babyn Yar was the place of the mass shooting of Jews and Romes, Soviet prisoners of war, prisoner of Syrets death camp, member of the Organization of Ukrainian nationalists and others.

Only for two days, on September 29-30, 1941, 34,000 Jews were shot there. Totally, during two years, 100-150,000 people, including two-thirds Jews, died there.
