Kyiv and 14 regions of Ukraine correspond to the "orange" zone of epidemic danger. This is evidenced by the data of the Ministry of Health.

According to the Ministry of Health, as of October 24, signs of an "orange" zone of epidemic danger due to the high level of Covid hospitalizations, occupancy of oxygen beds or an increased rate of detection of cases of infection have:

  • Kyiv;
  • Volyn region;
  • Zhytomyr region;
  • Ivano-Frankivsk region;
  • Kyiv region;
  • Luhansk region;
  • Lviv region;
  • Mykolaiv region;
  • Rivne region;
  • Ternopil region;
  • Kharkiv region;
  • Khmelnytsky region;
  • Cherkasy region;
  • Chernivtsi region;
  • Chernihiv region.

Kherson, Zaporizhia, Odesa, Donetsk, Sumy and Dnipropetrovsk regions are in the "red" zone of epidemic danger.

Vinnytsia, Zakarpattia, Kirovohrad and Poltava regions are in the "yellow" zone of epidemic danger.

Meanwhile, over the last 24 hours, Ukrainian doctors confirmed 20,791 new cases of Covid-19, including 1,533 children and 237 healthcare workers.

5,924 people have been taken to hospitals during this period; 386 patients deceased and 6,081 recovered. 110,224 tests have been taken.

Most of the confirmed cases have been observed in Dnipropetrovsk (2,211), Lviv (1,509), Kharkiv (1,508), Odesa (1,403) and Donetsk (1,380) regions.

Since the beginning of the pandemic in Ukraine, 2,769,405 people have contracted the disease, 2,375,776 have overcome it, 63,872 have succumbed to it.
