The number of the flights was canceled at airport Zhuliany, Kyiv as UNN reported.

According to the message, the night bad weather became the reason for such decision.

As we reported On the night of August 16, a downpour with a storm occurred in Kyiv. Khreshchatyk and some other streets were flooded. It was noted that the main street in the capital was strongly flooded. The sewers did not manage to cope with such amount of water.

Moreover, part of the streets was blocked for the transport traffic. The fallen trees also blocked the ways of the trolley buses so the number of the routes was canceled.

Also, it was reported that one more storm will take place in Kyiv on August 16.

Earlier a heavy rain, thunderstorm, and hail were in Kyiv on July 25. Some of the streets turned to ‘river’ and caused traffic jams downtown. Users of social networks are sharing their impressions on happenings. The drivers are recommended to not travel by own cars.

Traffic of high-speed tram is suspended because of the storm. The other types of the public transport are continuing their operation without following the schedule.

Kyiv City State Administration Emergency Control dispatched water pumps to Dorohozhychi area and Dehtiarivska Street due to the flood of the streets after the rain.
