Yuriy Krysin, who is involved in the case on the murder of Vyacheslav Veremiy, Vesti newspaper journalist, sentenced to 5 years behind bars, will be transferred to Donetsk prison, as Larysa Sahan, the Spokesperson of the Prosecutor General, wrote on Facebook.
“Well, the temperature’s down. It’s time to go to the location of the service. Yuriy Krysin, who is involved in the cases on tortures during Maidan, and the murder of the journalist Vyacheslav Veremiy, will be moved from Kyiv prison to Donetsk penal colony,” Sarahan wrote.
The Court sentenced Krysin to four years suspended and obligated to pay for court costs. The judge recognized his actions as hooliganism and found two mitigating circumstances – young children and repentance.
Earlier, someone threw green dye over Yuriy Krysin in the Heart Center on February 26. It was noted that Krysin, taking a bed in the children’s wing in the center, tried to hide from prosecution as the Court of Appeal session on Veremiy’s murder was expected soon.
