Stanislav Yezhov, the governmental interpreter that is suspected in the espionage in the favor of Russia did not have the access to the classified information and did not work with the confidential data as Interfax-Ukraine reported.

It was also reported that Yezhov was not ordered to work with the documents of the official use during his work in the Cabinet.

'According to the protocol of the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Stanislav Yezhov was not ordered to work with the document of the official use during his incumbency', the message said.

Also, the Secretariat of the Cabinet added that Yezhov was dismissed from the position of the deputy head of protocol of the Prime Minister on December 21, 2017.

As it was reported earlier counter-intelligence officers of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) uncovered an official of the Secretariat of the Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers who was working in the interests of the intelligence of Russia on December 20th.

Later it was reported that the SBU detained Stanislav Yezhov, the assistant of Volodymyr Groysman, the Prime Minister of Ukraine.

The Shevchenkivsky Court of Kyiv arrested Yezhov for two months without a right for a bail on December 22.
