Dmitry Peskov, the spokesperson of Russia's president called the actions of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) toward the RIA News-Ukraine outrageous and claimed that Russia will reciprocal measures when it gets more detailed information as RIA News reported.
'The reciprocal measures will definitely be assumed but to specify them we need to get more detailed information. Now we know only about the acts of force taken toward the Russian mass media, the measures that restrict the freedom of our journalists and they cannot get in touch. And it is enough for the strong condemn. We will act competently but certainly ballsy and maximally defend the interests of the Russian mass media', Peskov said.
In her turn, Margarita Simonian, the Chief Editor of Russia Today and RT TV channel claimed that the searches are the revenge for the Kerch Strait Bridge.
'The workers do not get in touch, the website is not updated, the phones are blocked', she wrote on Twitter and added that it is unknown what happens at the editorial office.
Later she reported that Vyshynsky and his advocate are questioned by the SBU.
As we reported the workers of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) and the Prosecutor's Office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea has exposed the network of the media entities controlled by the Russian Federation. The law enforcement bodies held the investigative actions at the office of RIA News-Ukraine.
At the moment the SBU considers the detention of the head of RIA News Ukraine agency’s office.
